What your feet need…

Our feet carry us every day, but we don’t really give them the attention and the care they deserve. Here are a few tips for beautiful, healthy feet all year round.

Footbath with baking soda
Get baking soda from the salt aisle of your supermarket. Diluted in warm water (2 tablespoons in one basin), baking soda will make your feet look pretty, soft and healthy. Indeed it reduces unsightly calluses and its anti-fungal action prevents the appearance of fungus that damages the nails. After a footbath in baking soda for about 15 minutes, dead skin will be much easier to remove, either by scrubbing or pumicing.

Moisturization of the feet
After any foot scrub action, do not forget to moisturize your feet properly. Some creams developed especially for the feet can be applied at any time of day. As for the most repairing creams, which are also the most effective, here is a tip for their application. In the evening, coat your feet generously with the repairing cream and then hide your pretty feet in a pair of cotton socks. Sleep with it if possible, or wear them as a bandage for a few hours.

If you are lucky enough to take a short break at the seaside, take the opportunity to give your feet a rejuvenating bath. Walking barefoot for a long time in the sand is excellent for strengthening and toning your feet. To improve blood circulation and refine thighs and legs, walking in water is ideal.
Finally, when you rest by the water’s edge, take the opportunity of holding wet sand in each of your hands and using it to massage your feet for a long time. Your feet will be naturally cleaned and nourished.
