Oily skin: 3 Grandma’s tips !

Having an oily skin can be a big struggle, especially regarding acne. In this article, I’m going to share with you 3 amazing grandma’s tricks for oily skins.

A blanck tea lotion

Did you know that tea is an excellent ally against oily skin? Get a packet of black tea. Let it infuse in 1/4 liter of boiling mineral water. Before you use the lotion, let it cool down beforehand. You can then apply this preparation on your face, using a cotton. Repeat this maneuver morning and evening for two weeks. Be careful, the skin must be well cleansed! You can keep the lotion for two days by preserving it in the fridge.

A steam bath

Steam baths are highly prized by the Nordic peoples, and are an integral part of the Roman baths. Through the transpiration caused by the vapor, the pores dilate, and reject their impurities. How to make a steam bath at home? To do this, fill a large container with boiling water, to which you will add a tablespoon of fresh thyme. Wrap your head with a towel before holding it over the smoking container. Be careful not to burn yourself: if the temperature is unbearable, wait a few moments. Stay for about ten to twenty minutes. Then wipe your face gently with a towel. As the pores are well opened, you can easily eliminate comedones that appear on the surface of your skin.

A purifying mask

This mask is especially suitable for oily skin. It tightens the pores and absorbs excess sebum. This care restores the complexion transparency, freshness and radiance. Start by smashing half of a ripe avocado. Add an egg white before pouring a teaspoon of lemon juice. Then squeeze the whole in a mixer: you get rid of all lumps and get a smooth preparation. Clean your face thoroughly before spreading the mask. Be careful not to place them around the eyes. For optimal effect, leave the mask in place for 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
