Bad breath: Our tips to finally get rid of it

Be it the unpleasant aftertaste in the early morning or your family and colleagues who repetitively ask you if you wanted a chewing gum or not, bad breath is, unfortunately, an everyday struggle for a lot of people. Despite good oral hygiene, bad breath can still make of our lives (and especially those of our interlocutors) a nauseating hell. To finally get rid of bad breath, or at least try to alleviate it, we reveal three alternatives to fight against this phenomena.

– THE ECO-FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE: THE COPPER TONGUE SCRAPER

Even if its basic and minimalist design reminds us a bit of a dentist’s tools, the tongue cleaner is still the solution with the best price-quality ratio for a fresh breath. As effective as it may seem, the copper tongue scraper is very simple to use and should be applied morning and evening to clean bacterial residues on the tongue. Its coppery material prevents oxidation and therefore keeps this dental object working in a perfect way forever without any loss of quality.

– THE NATURAL ALTERNATIVE: ESSENTIAL OILS

Essential oils, a relevant response to a quest for transparency in health products, are on the rise and have been progressively reintegrating our medicine cabinets over the last few years. Their strength? They’ve been proven to be an effective and natural solution to almost all our daily problems.

To fight against bad breath, they are sold in packs of three essential oils with very distinct properties: peppermint is antibacterial, cardamom is an antioxidant and lemon is a digestive ally. To use them wisely, simply place a drop of each on your toothbrush or tongue before each brushing.

THE MINUTE ALTERNATIVE: REFRESHING SPRAY

The refreshing mouth spray can still be very practical as well because of its simplicity of use and its range of flavors. A “pschtt ” when the smell of bad breath is felt and the problem is solved. It is nevertheless recommended to use it as a backup plan, in addition to a more targeted treatment (Like tongue scrapers or oils).
