Ingrown hair: 3 homemade remedies

We are all looking for that amazing soft skin like the one we see on ads or magasines. Still, our skin does not always cooperate with our will. In fact, ingrown hairs appear on our skin for two main reasons, either the dead skin was too present when the hair was trying to come out, or there is a problem in the hair growth manner. Through this article, I will share with you 3 natural remedies that will help you to get rid of the dead skin to avoid the inhair growth problem.

Aspirin & honey

The combination of these two ingredients has many vertues for the skin. The antiseptic, antibacterial and hydration components of honey makes it perfect to calm the infection. Also the salicylic acid contained in the aspirin has exfoliation vertues.

In a recipient, mix 3 uncoated aspirin tablets with 1 teaspoon of honet and 1/2 a teaspoon of water. Apply the mixture on the concerned area, leave it for 10 minutes, and wash with warm water.

Tea tree oil soak

Tea tree oil has a miraculous effect on acne thanks to its  antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic components. The method I will share with you works on reducing the inflammation, opening the pores, and eliminating the ingrown hair.

In a recipient, put up to 20 drops of tea tree oil, and add some warm water. Then, soak a cotton pad or a wash cloth into the mixture and gently presse the infected area. Repeat this operation as much as needed.

Coconut oil sugar scrub

This two-ingredients body scrub will make your skin reborn from its ashes. The coconut oil has so many vertues that it is impossible to list them all. In this case, it will act as an aniti-bacterial and anti-fungal agents and it will moisturize your skin. For the sugar, it will take off the dead skin and prevent your skin from the appearance of new ingrown hairs.

In a recipient, mix one cup of sugar with half a cup of coconut oil. Then, add 10 drops of tea tree oil. Apply the mixture of your skin my massaging in circular movements and wash with warm water.
